Patrick Suel is a highly experienced corporate venture capitalist with over 15 years of managing venture capital funds for international companies. Suel is the current President at Diamond Edge Ventures, where he focuses on the identification, negotiation, and investment in startup companies that have strategic technologies that can be integrated into Mitsubishi Chemical Holding's products. With a deep understanding of materials science, nanotechnology, energy, semiconductors, software, and early-stage startups, Suel brings over 30 years of experience in technology entrepreneurship, venture investment, international marketing, and business development.

Suel holds two master's degrees, one in Artificial Intelligence from IIRIAM and the other in Physics from Ecole Centrale de Marseille. Before joining Diamond Edge Ventures, Patrick worked as a Venture Partner for SKG Ventures, Korea SK Global’s CVC arm, and was a software executive with various Silicon Valley startups in diverse fields ranging from artificial intelligence to financial services. He is also an entrepreneur and founder of three startup companies in the fields of internet software, biotechnology, and medical devices.
