Dave Grossi, a retired police lieutenant with over 25 years of experience in law enforcement, is now the owner of David Grossi Consulting. Grossi has testified over 100 times as an expert witness on police use of force in the US and Canada. He is also a certified police instructor in defensive tactics, Tasers, firearms, police baton, edged weapons, handcuffing tactics, weapon retention, and chemical agents. With more than 165,000 police officers trained across North America, Grossi's experiences have also allowed him to publish over 150 articles and six book chapters largely dealing with police use of force. Grossi received his BS in Police Administration from SUNY and studied at State University of New York Empire State College. Before retiring, Grossi was an Adjunct Faculty member with Parks College.
