True North is a veteran, entrepreneur, and mother of four with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Southern Oregon University. She spent 28 years as a personal trainer, wellness coach, and nutrition counselor while also serving in the Army National Guard for 14 years, where she was a High Ropes Instructor and deployed alongside her unit. True North's innate abilities surfaced at a young age, where she could feel Fung Shui, sense energy, and reveal beauty. In 2001, she hiked 2,160 miles from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail, where she gained the moniker True North, a name that stuck with her after she legally changed it. True North has been an entrepreneur for her entire adult life, experimenting with several startups and businesses, some of which have flourished or offered great learning experiences. She "retired" from military and personal training in 2011 and started North Technologies, LLC, curating travel information for a travel app during a six-month, 20,000-mile road trip.
