Aarish Shah is a seasoned entrepreneur, investor, and financial expert with over a decade of experience working with startups and scaleups in the UK. He is the founder of EmergeONE, a company that provides CFO support to early-stage ventures, and Projected, a venture that simplifies financial modeling and decision-making for founders. Aarish has also launched Nothing Ventured, a podcast that discusses all things related to early-stage tech and venture ecosystems and shares knowledge with awesome people.
Aarish's career began as an analyst at PriceWaterhouseCoopers BPO before transitioning to Nortel Networks and then Deutsche Bank, where he served as a Business Area Controller. After a 10-year stint in Papua New Guinea, he returned to the UK and launched his entrepreneurial journey, starting with his consulting firm, Kuperard. Since then, he has held various part-time and full-time roles as a finance director, vCFO, and CEO in companies such as Bili, The Longest Stay, EtonX, and Pacific Foam Group.
As an investor, Aarish is a small cheque investor with a massive network, and he is always on the lookout for promising startups to fund and mentor. He was formerly an angel investor at MΛGIC, a global expert member at consilience, a mentor at the NEF+ Programme - Centre for Entrepreneurs, and a mentor at Virgin Startup.
Aarish's educational background includes studying Modern Languages, Italian, and Spanish at University Of Bristol Law School, as well as Management and Accounting.
