Matt Curinga is an accomplished educator, software engineer, and entrepreneur with a passion for educational technology and open education. He has extensive experience in software architecture and engineering, educational technology consulting, and computer science education. Matt is an Associate Professor at Adelphi University and has previously worked as a Lead Software Architect at Brainscape, a Software Engineering Consultant at Nielsen, a Senior Software Engineer at IAG Research, and a Co-Founder and CTO at Crisp Wireless. He has also provided educational technology consulting services at Computer Curriculum Corporation and worked as a Corps Member and Curriculum Consultant at Teach For America. Matt has studied English at Colby College, Irish Folklore at University College Cork, and Computing & Education and Instructional Technology & Media at Teachers College of Columbia University, where he earned an MA and Ed.D.
