Currently, Suhrid Chapagain serves as an Independent Researcher focusing on various fields such as National Dairy value chain analysis in Nepal with a focus on VC Governance, Ecopreneurship for minimizing human-wildlife conflict, Lokta Hand made paper enterprises, Technology innovation for Allo/Himalayan Nettle value chain, Renewable Energy Technology value chain analysis, Chir Pine needle electrification, and bore hole method of resin tapping technology transfer in Nepal. His work showcases a deep commitment to research and innovation for the betterment of society.

In his previous roles, Suhrid Chapagain worked as a Rural Entrepreneurship Development Consultant in Nepal, where his primary interests lay in promoting cultural producers, entrepreneurship development for differently-abled individuals, and rural entrepreneurship. He is a strong advocate for social entrepreneurship and value chain development approaches to drive sustainable change within communities.

Suhrid Chapagain's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Entrepreneurship and Human Resource Development from Bangalore University, where he excelled with a First Class distinction. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with Distinction from Motilal Nehru National Institute Of Technology. Additionally, he completed his Intermediate and School Leaving Certificate studies in Science at Amrit Science College and Adarsha Vidya Mandir respectively, laying a strong foundation for his career in development and innovation.

With a wealth of experience in various organizations, Suhrid Chapagain has held roles such as Researcher at Independent, Rural Enterprise Development Expert at Independent Consultant, Executive Director at Rural Enterprise Development, and Private Sector Development Manager at HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Nepal.
