Matthew Weinberg, a seasoned venture capitalist and public policy expert, has had an illustrious career in both the private and public sectors. He is currently a Principal at Max Ventures, a New York-based VC fund that focuses on digital healthcare and digital commerce startups across the US and Scandinavia. Weinberg is also the Executive Director of Faces of 5G, an initiative aimed at informing leaders in both the public and private sectors on the benefits of 5G technology.

Before joining Max Ventures and Faces of 5G, Weinberg served as a Senior Advisor in the Office of Investment and Innovation in the Obama Administration, where he directed programs that channeled $6 billion in capital towards investment funds, accelerators, and incubators. In his previous role at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, he managed programs aimed at growing the city's entrepreneurial and technology ecosystems.
