Alex Eble
Alex Eble is an expert in development economics and education, currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Economics and Education at Columbia University's Teachers College. He has an impressive educational background, having studied at Brown University for his doctorate and master's degrees in economics, as well as at the London School of Economics and Political Science for his master's degree in sociology, and at Indiana University Bloomington for his undergraduate degree in economics.
Before joining Teachers College, Eble held several roles, including as a Ph.D. student and research associate at Brown University, research and project manager in India for Effective Intervention, programme associate for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and intern at The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) and in Yunnan Province, China, as a Microdevelopment Intern.
As an economist, Eble's research interests focus mainly on education policy and issues in developing countries. He has published papers and articles in esteemed journals, including the Journal of Development Economics and the Journal of Human Resources. As an enthusiast, he shares a passion for learning and promoting education as a tool for sustainable development.
