I worked as a free lance strategic consultant to assess various IoT development platforms and its capabilities. i worked as a consultant for a SW company to be able to identify which IoT platform the company can rely on for all their future development and system integration projects when it comes to Internet of Things projects and applications. it was an interesting period in my career where i was more focusing on what could be the future needs for application development and which of the existing 10 platforms/IDEs offer more features and functions needed for the future.

Being the director for innovation centers including Customer Adaptation Center and Ericsson Mobility world for northern Africa region, I had the overall responsibility to establish, manage and further develop the innovation centers, process and tools used for the region. Innovation Centers are responsible for adapting/modifying Ericsson products and/or inventing new solutions to suite local customers (Operators) needs. Innovation Centers are playing an intermediate role between R&D and System Integration where local software development activity is the main role following some of the R&D processes. Director, Multimedia innovation centers (CAC & EMW) , Market Unit Northern Africa

Being an acting manager for MultiMedia and System Integration (M&SI) hub in MU NAf East I had the main responsibility to establish, manage and further develop the M&SI Unit in accordance with the guidelines issued by MU NAf. The Hub is responsible for the East region of MU NAf (Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia) The purpose of the M&SI Roll is to manage the resource provision for portfolio established by MU NAf and therefore contribute to the boosting of MU NAf’s business efficiency. The hub has both responsibilities of pre-sales support driven by a group of qualified solution architects, and the delivery responsibility accomplished by the solution integrators. I’ve been introduced to a complete new challenge and experience where I learned many new skills in management.  My responsibilities included: •	Supplying highly qualified and motivated Pre-sales and Delivery staff within for M&SI of tasks according to Ericsson core business.•	Providing stability, professional development and administrative efficiency to the persons involved in the management and support of projects.•	Resource planning and efficient utilization of the resources based on forecast and demand from CPM’s. •	Continuously improving the processes for M&SI department and enforcing recommended standards, methods and tools, as issued from MU NAf. Ericsson has a rich service layer product portfolio including MMS, WAP, Instant Messaging, Messaging Over IP, Push To Talk, ECDS Video Streaming, EMA Subscriber Provisioning, OSS & Network Management, etc.My role is to design and manage solutions of service layer products towards mobile operators VAS department during presales, sales & tendering phase and after sales activities towards operation department.My responsibility includes supporting the operators VAS team in technical planning, dimensioning, support project implementation and answering operator technical enquires related to service layer products/solutions.I’ve been recognized and appreciated both verbally and with certificates of excellence for my professional contribution in different project.

Ericsson Mobility World is a worldwide partnership program between Ericsson and 3rd party developers to provide mobile operators with rich portfolio of wireless content complementing Ericsson network platforms based on the global Ericsson experience with various operators and content providers in different markets allover the world.My role is to manage partner relations technically and commercially to facilitate the delivery of traffic generating content to end users utilizing operator infrastructure and platforms to full fill the operator need to increase ARPU from various operators’ revenue leads including MMS, WAP, SMS, Mobile Positioning, Push To Talk, Video Streaming, j2me clients, Symbian OS apps etc. My responsibility includes supporting both wireless operators and content development companies to provide data traffic services to end users formulating the operator data strategy utilizing MMS, WAP, and SMS platforms as per the standards defined by OMA (formerly WAP forum), MET, Wireless village, etc.In this essence I’m dealing with the complete life cycle of wireless applications starting from planning phase with the operator, partner selection and screening, going through partner technology transfer, prototyping, establishing trials and the commercial role out as a wireless product involving a wide scope of mobile <a href="http://services.http://www.ericsson.com/mobilityworld/">services.http://www.ericsson.com/mobilityworld/</a>

Mobile Internet Center, Manager – Ericsson Egypt

Being employed in Ericsson for Mobile Internet Center I worked on several commercial projects being the customer SPOC for all technical aspects related to Mobile Internet to analyze customer requirements and design software solutions based on Ericsson infrastructure for mobile networks in addition to supporting Ericsson Mobility World associate partners to develop successful applications generating more traffic for the operator network supplied by Ericsson.
