Bassem Boshra is an accomplished professional with over 24 years of experience in the ICT industry. He has a proven track record of creating and implementing innovative solutions for telecom companies with an emphasis on automated processes for operations and management tools. He is experienced in crafting strategies for communication and delivery with a focus on launching new services for operators.
Bassem started his career as a professional programmer, focusing on innovative technologies that ranged from operating system calls to the early days of internet banking systems. In 2000, he was the first employee to join Ericsson Mobile Internet Center of excellence in Egypt as a solution architect and system designer in the early days of GPRS.
Throughout his career, Bassem has been heavily involved with Ericsson, serving as Chief ICT Solutions Lead, Director of the Multimedia Innovation Centers, and Head of OSS/BSS Software Customization Center, among other positions. Bassem has also founded SpimeSenseLabs, where he is the CEO and Founder.
Bassem has studied at the American University in Cairo, the Information Technology Institute, and the Menoufia University, where he earned a Bachelor of Engineering Science in Computer and Automatic Control Engineering. He is also ThingWrox certified, with additional experience as a web application development instructor at the Information Technology Institute.
