Alexander Loktev is an accomplished high-tech venture capitalist, media entrepreneur, and PR & GR strategist with over 25 years of experience. Loktev has worked with venture capital-related projects for over ten years and worked at RVC, the major shareholder of InfraFund, as the CEO and Head of the Investment Committee, where he helped in elaborating InfraFund's investment strategy. He also assisted in managing RVC Infrastructure Investment Fund, a unique infrastructure-focused fund. He most recently worked as the CEO at UK RB, which is managing company (GP) at "Industry 4.0" VC fund. The fund focuses on investments in new industrial technologies within the Industry 4.0 concept. Besides that, the fund provides startup companies with unique access to key Russian enterprises in various industries. Loktev has an extensive background in the Russian new media industry, the internet, and corporate communications spheres. Loktev has a vast level of experience with incubators and managed "Skolkovo Technopark," a high-tech venture incubator sponsored by the Russian government. He has also founded an incubator of Internet and New media business projects named "InVenture" and raised $10 million of seed capital. Loktev has also worked as CEO and Editor-in-chief for "Kommersant," a leading Russian business newspaper, and headed the PR and corporate information department for Yukos oil company. He studied Management at The Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration and Journalism at Lomonosov Moscow State University. Loktev has an MBA in Strategic Management from Kingston University and completed a training program in Corporate Governance at the Higher School of Economics.
