João Vitória is an accomplished brand communications and innovation professional with over 25 years of experience. He has worked with top agencies in New York, London, and Paris, as well as his adopted hometown, Lisbon. João has delivered creative projects for airports, historical buildings, retail spaces, movie theatres, stadiums, and music festivals. He has won over 10 Agency of the Year awards in advertising, digital marketing, and media agencies in Portugal. João is also a TV host since 2001 and an advocate of project-based learning.

João is a graduate of Master of Business Administration in Leadership at the Berlin School of Creative Leadership. His education includes a Masters in Project Management, and he studied Television and English Language. João has volunteered as a guest lecturer and teacher at top universities in Portugal, including Universidade Católica Portuguesa, ETIC, Universidade Europeia, and Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa.

João is the founder and creative director at SHKR. He was also the former Chief Creative Officer at Braver Media Group, Executive Creative Director at Wavemaker, Creative Director at Mindshare, Chief Digital Officer at Omnicom Portugal, and Chief Technology Officer at BBDO Portugal. João was also the Pedagogical Diretor - Project-based learning at EDIT - Disruptive Digital Education and the Global Head of Innovation at FullSIX Groupe.
