Esmilda Abreu-Hornbostel is a highly accomplished change agent and builder, with experience in organizational development, education, business management and human behavior. Currently serving as the Associate Vice President for Student Life at Manhattan College, Esmilda is a proponent of social justice and helps organizations navigate complex interpersonal, political, legal and societal challenges while promoting diversity, equity, and strategic innovation. With a background in psychology, women's studies and dance, Esmilda has studied at prestigious institutions such as Columbia University Teachers College and Capella University. Her specialties include leadership and mentoring, higher education and student success, diversity equity and inclusion, threat assessment, crisis management and conflict resolution, institutional research and performance assessment, and strategic planning and innovation.
