Alexander Tang is a highly accomplished venture capitalist with extensive experience in technology investing and intellectual property strategy development. With over ten years of experience in growth strategy formulation and direct P&L responsibility, he has played a leading role in numerous successful investments. As Vice President at IPD Capital, LLC, Tang has been involved in investments in several successful companies, including AllBirds, CLEAR, Owlet Baby Care, Alitheon, and Capsule. He has also been instrumental in securing over $4M in funding from various governmental entities and corporations as a founding team member at Clean Energy Trust, expanding partnerships, and mentoring entrepreneurs.

Tang holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Accounting, Finance, and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
