Daniel Herrington

Daniel Herrington is an experienced technology leader and business manager with a diverse background in technology design, development, implementation, and management. With skills developed in both startup and corporate environments, he consistently delivers results whether working on his own or with others across geographies and timezones. His technical expertise lies in the DevOps space, where he has worked with config management tools like Puppet, Chef, and Ansible in large-scale cloud automation projects, as well as designing AWS VPCs for infrastructure deployment and leveraging Amazon’s security suite of tools. He has also worked with Git, Jenkins, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes to deliver microservice-based applications for business users.

With a degree in biotechnology and natural science and mathematics, Daniel's career has focused on ensuring that IT delivers solutions that minimize the impact, risk, and costs to companies in various economic sectors, including finance, retail, supply chain, manufacturing, medical, and pharmaceutical. He has held leadership positions such as Chief Operating Officer at Left Coast Financial Solutions and Robert Mark Technologies, as well as technical positions as IT Application Expert at Nike and Director of Field Services at Robert Mark Technologies. Daniel has also been involved in the business management of the startups he has worked with, developing strategic plans and managing financial forecasts and budgeting.
