Frank Rapoport, a highly accomplished individual with a legal background, has established himself as a trailblazer with Samsara Gear, a remarkable fashion collection that is the first and only brand to share proceeds with eating disorder advocacy and recovery. Founded in 2018, Samsara Gear offers a wide range of clothing and accessories that are hand loomed with sheep wool, silk, and organic cotton sourced from the Kingdom of Bhutan. Frank's deep-rooted relationships in Bhutan have made him the first designer and importer of Bhutanese clothing in North America.

Samsara Gear is a proud member of the Museum Store Association (MSA) and has collaborated with several international brands. Its unique and colorful patterns, combined with tailored fittings, are appealing to people of all ages, ethnicities, and sexual orientations. Samsara Gear's fabrics are sourced directly from the Himalayas, which are handmade using traditional methods, adding a spiritual dimension that makes them truly enlightened fashion.

Frank's journey to the Himalayas honored his daughter, Alex, who died in 2016 after a multi-decade battle with an eating disorder. Frank was fascinated by the 800 year-old tradition of weaving and dyeing sheep and yak hair called YATHRA, which he then incorporated into SamSara Gear. In addition to importing the hand-loomed fabric, SamSara Gear also buys finished products from select designers in Bhutan.

Frank holds a BA in Political Science and Government from the University of Pennsylvania and a JD in Law from the Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law. He has worked in various positions, including Managing Director at P3DevelopmentPartnersLLC, Senior P3 Advisor at Republic Family of Companies, Managing Partner at Urban Gondola Systems LLC, and Trial Attorney at U.S. Department of Justice.
