Gustavo Lermen is a talented software architect with over two decades of experience delivering software solutions across various platforms. Currently, he works at SAP IBSO, where he specializes in creating customised solutions using the SAP Commerce platform. Gustavo is also a seasoned solution architect who has worked on end-to-end solutions for the SAP Mobile Platform (SMP). As a senior developer at SAP, he has also gained extensive experience working with HANA and ABAP in different projects.

Gustavo began his software development career back in 1997, working with C, C++, and Java. In 2005, he started developing mobile applications for smartphones, focusing on Objective-C and Swift. He is well-versed in Agile/SCRUM methodologies, design patterns, unit testing frameworks (JUnit), and versioning systems (SVN, Git, and Github).

Gustavo received a master's degree from UNISINOS University, where he explored code mobility for a programming language focused on mobile computing in his dissertation. He also teaches iOS programming at the graduate level as a professor at UNISINOS.
