Human Resources Manager - Marketing and Online

- HR support for The Home Depot's Technology Supply Chain, Merchandising and Marketing teams of over 300 associates and the Software Quality teams of approx. 90 associates across 4 office locations in Atlanta, Georgia and Dallas and Austin, Texas.
- Experience with associate relations, career development and mentoring, talent planning, succession plans, recruiting and selecting talent, communication strategies, associate engagement activities, change management and executing strategic initiatives.
- Participation on the company's University Relation's team that streamlined a consistent process for recruiting and selecting intern and entry level talent. HR lead for the partnership with Georgia Institute of Technology across multiple functions for the company to include Technology, Merchandising, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales and Services, etc. Also, continue to serve as the HR consult for the Technology Internship program which has grown to 136 interns for the Summer 2016 program across 4 office locations in Georgia and Texas.
- Formed the company's first Technology Rotational Program for the top talent from each intern class. Currently piloting with 8 developers who will rotate to different areas of the business in the Technology department every 6 months over a 2 year period. Assisting with planning monthly engagement, networking and exposure to senior leadership events throughout the program.
- Drive associate engagement initiatives through an annual Voice of the Associate Survey for the teams I support. Promoting participation in the survey and hold leaders accountable for increasing the Associate Commitment Index year over year.

Human Resources Manager - Technology

- Led HR partnership for approx. 30 IT associates on the Browse & Navigation, Mobile and Search Teams for the Online Technology department located at a satellite office that housed approx. 200 associates.
- Partnered with HR generalists across different teams to share communication, policy and procedures and associate engagement activities for the satellite office. Also with HR generalists at office locations in Austin and Dallas Texas where other members of the team were located.
- Began HR responsibilities to include associate relations, talent planning, selection and development of talent, leadership development and any ad hoc requests and projects.
- Continued to support human resources team of five HR managers for information technology by assisting with projects, weekly and monthly reporting, overseeing associate initiatives and other ad hoc responsibilities.
- Oversee IT Summer Internship program at the Atlanta Store Support Center with over 60 interns. Manage recruiting efforts, selection process of interns, on boarding and mentoring and events over the summer internship experience. Coordinate with other functions to streamline orientation and cross-functional events throughout the summer.
- Liaison between approx. 60 IT associates and Banta Immigration Law. Assist in associate immigration matters including H1B renewals, ports, green card initiation and full-process, visa stamping, employer support letters, requests for evidence issued, etc.
- Manage and distribute reporting on attrition, headcount, new hires and promotions, college hires, compensation and any other reporting needs requested by HR team.

Senior HR Specialist

- Supporting human resources team of five HR managers for information technology by assisting with projects, weekly and monthly reporting, overseeing associate initiatives and other ad hoc responsibilities.
- Lead Aprons OnBoard project, an onboarding tool for IT associates. Successfully streamlined on boarding process for IT associates and program was rolled out to the entire Store Support Center in October 2013. Assisted with initial design, content, process, and currently assist with troubleshooting and process improvements across all functions, IT, Finance, Merchandising, HR, Supply Chain and Legal. Aprons OnBoard is used for over 500 new associates per year.

HR Specialist

- Assisting 5 corporate recruiters for the IT department and 2 corporate recruiters for the Finance department of The Home Depot’s Store Support Center.
- Carry out an extensive on boarding process for on average 5 new hires per week that includes creating offer letters, sending out complete on boarding packets, running background checks, checking drug screens, initiating new hire in THD’s payroll and email systems. Upon the new hires first day, completing new hire paperwork including tax forms, completing the I-9 and E-Verify process and filling the new hire through an electronic filing system.
- Communicating the status of any on boarding or interview scheduling with the recruiters, hiring managers, interview teams and/or HR partners.
- Scheduling phone, video, conference call and in person interviews in Outlook and confirming the interview with the candidate via email. Overseeing the logistics of the interview including, booking conference rooms, escorting candidates, booking travel, creating full itinerary for the interview team and candidate.
- Coordinating college recruiting events, interview days and on boarding of over 35 interns for the IT Summer Internship Program each year.
- Updating an IT Report daily of over 100 job requisitions at any given time, including positions open, filled, closed, put on hold, weekly hires and college recruiting.
- Posting positions on <a href="http://Careers.HomeDepot.com">Careers.HomeDepot.com</a> through PeopleFluent, and on external job boards such as Linked In, Dice and The Ladders.

Talent Acquisitions Coordinator

- Coordinating all station promotions including contests, events and public service initiatives. Tasks included but were not limited to setting up live mentions and contests on-air, communicating with the jock to ensure they understood how to execute the promotion, writing copy and contest rules for the station website, write email newsletter that was sent out weekly, organizing promotional items for station events, and manage online contest rewards program and text club.
- Initiating and overseeing WQYK presence on various social media networks to increase listener interaction with the station
- Maintain a daily inventory of the prize department and provide positive relationships with prize winners
- Training and managing interns to show them the nature of the radio industry and provide valuable experience in their future school and professional careers
- Work closely with promotions director, account executives and various clients to be sure promotions are executed correctly and most efficiently

Promotions Coordinator

- Assisted with the annual Walk to Cure Diabetes for the Florida Suncoast Chapter. Ran a public relations campaign for the walk that included recording a public service annoucement advertising the event on Clear Channel radio stations in Sarasota, Fla., writing press releases for local news and magazine publications and assisting the board of the chapter with advertising and fundraising needs for the event.
