He has held numerous executive positions, including Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Health Care Service Corporation, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of IL, TX, MT, OK, NM; Senior Vice President, Global Information Security at Bank of America; Executive Director, Global Cybersecurity Partnerships and Government Strategy at JPMorgan Chase & Co., among others. Ian has also served as a US Air Force Officer and USCYBERCOM (J3), National Security Agency, where he held different positions, such as Cyber Defender, Offensive Cyber Attacker, Director of Operations, Flight Commander, and Lead Software Engineer.

Ian is a highly knowledgeable and experienced cybersecurity expert, specializing in cyber operations, strategy, policy, planning, cyber threat intelligence, incident response, governance/risk/compliance, and capability development. He has led multi-billion-dollar portfolios and has been Chief of 200+ person organizations. Ian is a proven leader in the public and private sectors for risk reduction and cybersecurity.
