Tal Weiss is a seasoned technology manager and entrepreneur with extensive experience in software, hardware, and algorithm development. With a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering from Technion-Machon Technologi Le' Israel, he has worked for several high-profile organizations, including BigBand Networks, Connegy, and Verizon. At Booking.com, Tal currently serves as a machine learning engineering manager, overseeing the development of natural language understanding, deep learning, security, cloud computing, and real-time embedded systems.

Before joining Booking.com, Tal was the founder of Evature and the COO and co-founder of Digital Trowel. He has also held several senior-level positions, including Senior Director of Development Project Management and Director of Video Project Management at BigBand Networks, where he managed complex integrations, high-speed board design, VLSI development, video processing, and VOIP. Tal is an expert in communication protocols, with a background in edge group management and research project management from his time at Connegy and IDF's Mador 6, respectively.
