Myles Jaffe, O.D., Ph.D. is a pharmaceutical expert with a diverse and extensive career spanning corporate, public sector, clinical, and consulting environments. He has core expertise in ophthalmology, psychiatry, and neurology therapeutic areas, with a particular focus on glaucoma, retinal disease, including IRDs, and ocular surface disease. With over two decades of experience in global medical education, medical affairs, communications, and clinical R&D, Jaffe is skilled at interacting with key opinion leaders as well as attorneys in a highly regulated environment. He has been involved in expansive cross-functional teams during product launches and provides strategic medical input on advisory boards. Jaffe has experience in clinical trial site selection, topline slide deck preparation, public speaking/KOL engagement, and medical-legal (regulatory) review of educational and promotional pieces. Additionally, he has extensive experience in medical writing, including clinical protocol and procedure manual development, abstracts, manuscripts, posters, clinical study reports, regulatory response letters, instructions for use (IFU), and patient information leaflets (PILs), among others.
