Jim Gibson
Jim Gibson is a renowned serial entrepreneur, management consultant, and author with over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. He studied Entrepreneurial Studies and Finance at York University's Schulich School of Business and received a B.Comm. in Accounting and Computer Science from the University of Toronto's University of St. Michael's College. Gibson has founded and co-founded multiple companies, including Thin Air Labs and Tip of the Spear / JAGYYC, and has successfully raised millions in start-up capital. He is a former Chief Catalyst at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) and a former board member at Clean Resource Innovation Network (CRIN) and Beakerhead. He has also provided advisory services to various organizations, including Kudos Inc. and Alberta Innovates. Gibson is an advocate for innovation and disruptive technologies and has authored the book Tip of the Spear: Our Species and Technology at a Crossroads.
