Chris Gatch is an accomplished executive, technologist, engineer, and entrepreneur with an impressive background in technology entrepreneurship, product development, business partnerships, and M&A. With a keen ability to spot early technology trends and drive product development, Chris has guided the technology strategy of multiple successful companies from start-up to successful exit.

Chris has a wealth of experience in the IT and communications sector, with deep knowledge in cloud IaaS, carrier network services (IP, Ethernet, Fiber), storage, and voice over IP. As the current CTO of DC BLOX, he spearheads the company's operations to build Tier 3 data centers in the Southeastern United States, connect them with a reliable high-speed optical network and host cloud services.

Before his role at DC BLOX, Chris was the CEO and co-founder of InfraPoint, delivering dedicated private cloud solutions to the SMB market through a network of outstanding IT partners, and achieved a successful exit. Prior to InfraPoint, Chris served as CTO of Cbeyond, a successful communications and cloud provider, leading the engineering team and building the technology partnerships that enabled Cbeyond to be the first company in the US to provide local phone service using VoIP.

Chris's impressive track record includes raising over $140M in venture capital, $250M in private equity/debt, and a $75M IPO on the NASDAQ. He has also helped with seven acquisitions with over $375M in transaction value, making him a sought-after expert in complex corporate transactions.

Chris earned his Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering from Clemson University, and a Masters in Management of Technology from Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business.
