Vera Moore is known for her expertise in building strong relationships with nonprofits that promote advocacy and service to low- and moderate-income communities and people of color. As the Market Manager for Community Engagement at JPMorgan Chase & Co., she ensures that the voices and perspectives of nonprofit leaders, and the communities they serve, are reflected in Chase’s decision-making process about its products, services, and philanthropy.
With her master's degree in Urban Planning, Housing Policy, and Economic Development from New York University, and a law degree from University of California, Los Angeles, Vera has developed a keen understanding of how to bring an enhanced equity lens to financial services. She has also worked in various roles at Seedco, National Urban League, and the Manhattan Borough President's Office, where she focused on providing technical assistance to small businesses and urban youth empowerment programs.
Vera is passionate about creating a culture of inclusion and ensuring that marginalized communities have equal access to the resources they need to thrive. Throughout her career, she has honed her skills in community planning, business development, strategic planning, and public affairs.
