Rachel ten Brink is a successful entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and marketer with experience in the consumer packaged goods and beauty industries. She is a partner at Five Four Ventures, a venture capital firm and a start-up studio with operations in San Francisco and New York. Rachel is an alumni of leading startup incubators including Y Combinator and 500 Startups.

Previously, Rachel co-founded and served as the CMO for two successful companies: Deck of Scarlet and Scentbird. During her time with Scentbird, the fragrance and beauty subscription service raised over $24MM in venture funding. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Rachel spent over 20 years in senior executive positions at leading global CPG and beauty firms including Elizabeth Arden, Estee Lauder, Bacardi, Gillette, and L'Oreal.

Rachel is passionate about supporting women and Hispanic individuals in tech and is the co-president of the Columbia Business School Hispanic Alumni Association. In addition to her work in venture capital, Rachel is also an early-stage investor and advisor to digital-first consumer companies. She frequently writes and speaks about digital inclusion, technology, entrepreneurship, and diversity.

A proud native of Costa Rica, Rachel holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a bachelor's degree in international business, magna cum laude, from Babson College.
