Founded by Joy Anderson, Criterion has unique insights based on our values of grace, hospitality and invitation, our deceptively simple methodologies, and our history at the intersection of business and social change. From 2001-2012 Criterion operated as the for-profit Criterion Ventures, and in 2012 converted to the non-profit Criterion Institute. Criterion Institute's mission is to broaden what matters in our economic decisions by expanding who has authority in the work of reinventing the economy. Over the years, Criteiron has had particular focus on the work of shaping maket systems, gender lens investing, and discovering God's economy.

Good Capital's mission is to accelerate the flow of capital to enterprises that create innovative, market-based solutions to inequality, poverty, and other social problems and in doing so amplify their total impact. In addition to raising and deploying a venture capital fund for emerging social enterprises, Good Capital is committed to collaborating with peers, contributing thought leadership, sharing experiences, and creating innovative products and processes that enables the market for socially minded capital to flourish.
