Kate Morris

Kate Morris is an accomplished Manager of Strategic Initiatives with expertise in instituting effective process, system, and technology solutions to improve organizational efficiency. She has honed her skills through years of effectively collaborating with diverse teams to undertake impactful strategic projects like fundraising, impact evaluations, and shared business services. Kate's passion for development and social change fueled her pursuit of an MPA, International Development degree at Columbia University - School of International and Public Affairs. She also holds a Masters, Economics, and Bachelor, Social Science; Economics & Sociology degrees from the University of Cape Town.

Having over a decade of robust experience under her belt, Kate has handled senior leadership roles in reputable organizations, including Director of Institutional Learning at African Leadership Academy and Director of External Relations at African Leadership Foundation. She has also worked as a Consultant at EdVillage, Program Evaluation intern at Millennium Villages Project, Researcher at The World Bank, Economic Analyst - Junior Economist at The Competition Commission of South Africa, Researcher at University of Cape Town, and Intern at Centre for Social Science Research.
