John Sexton is an accomplished leader and educator with a diverse range of experiences. A former president of New York University (NYU) for over a decade, Sexton played a critical role in transforming the university into a world-class academic institution. He is an expert in higher education, law, and religion, having authored several books and articles on these topics. Sexton is also an ordained minister in the United Methodist Church and served for several years as a senior counsel for law firm Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP. Additionally, he currently serves on several boards, including the Council on Foreign Relations and the American Council on Education.
