David Martin is an experienced Performance Director with a strong background in elite sport.
His expertise lies in Sport Technology, High Performance Support Teams, Innovative Solutions, Sports Nutrition, and Advanced Recovery.
He has a successful history of developing innovative teams that provide world-class support to elite athletes, with a focus on Specificity of Training, Team Sports, Cycling, and Sports Science.
David holds a PhD in Zoology and Physiology from the University of Wyoming, an MS in Exercise Physiology from Northern Michigan University, and a BS in Zoology from The College of Idaho.
He has held key roles such as Chief Scientist and Director of Performance at Performance Health Science, Honorary Professor in Exercise Science at Australian Catholic University, Director of Performance Research and Development at Philadelphia 76ers, and National Sports Science Coordinator at Cycling Australia.
Additionally, he has worked as a Senior Sport Scientist at the Australian Sports Commission and as a Research Assistant at the University of Wyoming and the United States Olympic Committee.
