Marcos Oviedo is a software architect with over 17 years of experience in building software solutions. He is an expert in designing and developing corporate and consumer-based solutions, with a proven competency in heterogeneous technologies and computer architectures. Oviedo is also passionate about information security and has extensive experience in designing exploit prevention capabilities for endpoint security solutions, vulnerability research, malware analysis, and CTFs.

Oviedo studied English Language at UNC - Escuela de Lenguas and graduated from Instituto Universitario Aeronáutico with a degree in Telecommunications Engineering. He has worked for various organizations in the past, including DSIRF GmbH, McAfee, Intel Labs, and Claro Arg.

Apart from software development, Oviedo has experience in embedded systems for telecommunication and industrial equipment. Additionally, he has a strong technical background in computer hardware architectures, software, and operating systems internals. Oviedo is comfortable diving into large C/C++ codebases and has hands-on experience with embedded hardware design, FPGAs, SOC/SBC/CoM interfacing, and bug fixing work on a wide spectrum of boards and HW architectures.
