With a Master of Philosophy in Economics from The George Washington University, Allahrakha has worked as an Economist at the International Monetary Fund and served as an Economics Instructor at the same university. Additionally, Allahrakha has held roles as a Financial Analyst at the US Treasury's Office of Financial Research and as a Research Consultant at The World Bank.
Allahrakha's research focuses on the analysis of bank regulations, specifically related to Basel 3, and their effects on large complex banking organizations and the real economy.
