David Scheinker

David Scheinker is an accomplished researcher, teacher, and director in academia and healthcare operations. He has extensive experience in mathematical modeling, machine learning, and writing. He is also skilled in rock climbing and surfing. He has completed his BA and MA in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and his PhD in Mathematics from the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Scheinker has worked as a Clinical Associate Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine and as an Advisor at Carta Healthcare. He has also held positions as an Adjunct Professor of Management Science and Engineering at Stanford University and as the Director of Systems Design and Collaborative Research at Stanford Children's Health, Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford. Earlier in his career, Dr. Scheinker was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Visiting Assistant Professor at Drexel University. He has also served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of San Diego and written for Problems and Solutions: A companion guide to understanding mathematics. Dr. Scheinker has served as an Analyst at Eos Airlines, worked as a Graduate Student at UC San Diego, and as an Instructor at Johns Hopkins University, Center for Talented Youth, and an Analyst at the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience.
