Karri Saarinen
Karri Saarinen is a design and technology leader, as well as the co-founder and CEO of Linear.app, an issue tracking software used by modern teams to streamline software development and improve execution. With a background of more than a decade in product design, management, and organization, Karri has gained expertise working with some of the most successful technology startups in Silicon Valley, including Airbnb and Coinbase, where he held senior leadership positions.
Karri's entrepreneurial journey started with co-founding Kippt, a Y Combinator-backed startup that provides bookmarking and knowledge sharing tools for teams. He also co-founded Rails Girls, a non-profit organization that promotes and facilitates the involvement of women in technology. During his career, Karri has also worked as a Scout for Sequoia Capital, as a mentor and coach at Startup Sauna, and as an advocate of the Finnish startup ecosystem, co-founding ArcticStartup.
Karri's educational background includes studying startups at Y Combinator and management and organizations at the School of Economics at the University of Vaasa. Besides his professional experience, Karri has skills in web development, business development, and product design.
