Thrilled to share what I’ve been up to for the past year. Avenue One is a property technology platform and marketplace for institutional owners, buyers and sellers of residential homes.  We just announced a $100M strategic capital raise!  I'm incredibly proud to work with this amazing group.

Head of the Non-Agency Trading Desk and New Issue Syndicate for RMBS  

Led a team of 6 traders that utilized a data driven approach to grow our market share upwards of ~10%.  

Without a significant bank balance sheet, we expanded our primary market presence and underwrote new issue RMBS deals exceeding $~10BN in total volume in 2021.

We grew our primary and secondary market making to include Jumbo, Agency Conforming, NQM, Second Liens, HELOCS, and Mortgage Servicing Rights transactions.

In the wake of the GFC, our team built out and executed the asset management strategy for $30+ billion in distressed mortgage assets.  

Our trading and disposition of those assets contributed to some of the best IRR's in the fund's history.

Joined a 3 person portfolio management team that ran ~$4BN in RMBS, ABS, and Corporate credit risk.

Worked on a variety of teams that analyzed, structured, and traded mortgage loans and securitizations.  

Primary focus was on mortgage credit which became vital as the crisis of 2007 approached.
