James Hursthouse is a well-established figure in the global games and digital media industry with over 20 years of experience. He has a proven track record of success in content development and publishing, infrastructure and technology for games as a service, mixed reality, blockchain, and artificial intelligence. He has previously held positions as CEO and founder of Roadhouse Interactive, Executive Director of DigiBC, and Chief Strategy Officer of AMPD. James has also co-founded several game developer and publisher companies, including Cooper’s New Reality Garage, PlayChannel Inc., and Talous Interactive.

James holds a BA (Hons) in Interdisciplinary Human Studies from the University of Bradford. He is a board member of Canada’s Digital Technology Supercluster and has served as an advisor for Bezant Foundation Limited, Cyberdontics, Rabid Games Inc., and Truly Social Games.

He is currently the Chief Strategy Officer of AMPD, a provider of high-performance cloud and compute services that cater to the requirements of cutting-edge, low-latency applications.
