A college job. A tremendous amount of very hard work that took weeks to get used to. At the time I was there, UPS was delivering 12 million packages a day world wide. My accomplishment there: Minor things that I did had a huge impact on the operation of that particular 10-bay loading line. As a result, my belt had the lowest miss-sort count, highest load quality, highest package flow (at the pick-off level) in the building, and the lowest employee turn-over. It was, objectively speaking, the highest rated loading operation anywhere west of the Mississippi.
