Sam Meikle
Sam Meikle is a British entrepreneur and consultant with a diverse range of experiences in change management, operations, and healthcare. She is most notably known for her work as the founder and director of Spark the Difference, a small service consultancy based in the United Kingdom that specializes in human-centered design principles with process improvement techniques. Sam's impact on the healthcare industry has been widely recognized, as she has supported decision-makers in NHS commissioners, providers, community organizations, private and not-for-profit organizations, which resulted in national awards.
Sam has over five years of experience in entrepreneurship and has expertise in strategy setting, business planning, thought leadership, service, and product design, marketing, sales, communication, customer care, financial management, HR/staff, and supplier management.
Sam's experience in change management and operations management comes from leading change management and gaining buy-in to project deliverables from diverse stakeholder groups. Her strong operational background in systems, processes, and IT have assisted her in managing multi-disciplinary teams and projects and long-term business planning at managerial and executive levels.
As a skilled facilitator and mentor, Sam has hosted large-scale national events, training programs, and shared good practices and examples of her work nationally, and internationally.
Sam is an alumna of James Cook University and a former fellow at the Startup Leadership Program. She has also held various roles as a director, program, and project manager in different organizations in the public and private sectors such as Private Healthcare Information Network, London Connect, Improvement Science London, The Health Foundation, RIBA, John Lewis, New South Wales Attorney General's Department, Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, and Vodafone.
