John Thomas Benson is a well-educated activist, humanitarian, and entrepreneur who has devoted his career to making positive changes within his community. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management from the University of Arizona and a Master of Arts in Urban Sustainability from Antioch University-Los Angeles, he has an excellent academic background to fuel his many endeavors.

Before settling into his current position as a Graduate Student at Antioch University-Los Angeles, John explored various fields and organizations. He served as a Youth Director at Mosaic, acted with Aqua Talent Agency and McGowan Rodriguez Management, worked as a Food Server at The Butcher's Daughter, a Visual Merchandiser at Adidas, and a Primary Care Worker at Casa De Los Ninos. He was also a Stories That Soar! Performer at Literacy Connects.

Through it all, John has been driven by his passion for improving the world around him. He is an expert in community organizing, social justice issues, and environmental sustainability. His skills in communication and leadership allow him to inspire and mobilize others effectively.
