Joel Gerlach is a highly experienced creative director and content producer with a knack for button-pushing on a keyboard to create amazing projects. He attended East Tennessee State University for his Bachelor of Science in Digital Media, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and obtained his Associate of Science in General Studies, Suma Cum Laude, from Chattanooga State Technical College.

Joel has produced over 15 interactive and non-interactive titles for big-name clients such as Disney, LEGO, YouTube Red, Mattel, and Cheerios, among others. He blends his 9 years of technical and creative industry experience with a deep understanding of business operations and client relations, positioning himself as a well-rounded professional.

As a former Chief Mischief Officer at Mod Rules Games, LLC, Joel spearheaded the creative aspects of game development, ensuring that each project met the clients' needs while keeping within the allocated budget. Before that, he was a freelance VFX supervisor at Cineline Productions, where he oversaw every aspect of VFX production for a wide range of projects.

At Cappelli Miles, Joel serves as the Creative Director, where he leads a team of creatives and developers, ensuring that every project aligns with the clients' vision and aligns with the company's objectives.

Joel is a proud ukulele player and was once cast as Rapunzel's Father in Chattanooga State Technical Community College's production of Rapunzel, a theatrical performance that changed his life for the better.
