As the founder of BeecherMadden in 2010, Karla expanded the organization's reach to Europe, the Middle East, and North America. She later sold BeecherMadden to Nicoll Curtin in 2017, where she assumed the role of Executive Director and board member.

Karla has a track record of successfully leading and growing teams in North America and Europe, increasing team sizes from 5 to 30 individuals. She is dedicated to continuous improvement and public speaking on entrepreneurship, cybersecurity, Human Resources, and diversity recruiting.

She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Anglia Ruskin University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Ancient History from The University of Reading.

Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Orpheus Cyber, Karla also has a history of involvement with organizations like Decipher Cyber, The CyberTree Paradox, Trident Search, and Forbes Human Resources Council. Her previous roles include founder and executive director of BeecherMadden, recruitment business partner at Britvic Soft Drinks, and various recruitment advisory positions.
