Responsibilities include developing sales and marketing strategies for the Wedding and Events Department annually to promote and grow this division of the Ski Resort.  Sells and executes contracts for weddings and events at nine on-mountain venues.  Focuses on key markets to pull business from and develops relationships with important players in these markets.  Works to develop and design plans for expansion as the business grows.  Gathers event details, maintains relationships with all contracted clients and seeks new relationships through on going sales efforts.  Maintains public relations in the wedding community to remain Telluride’s key player in the wedding business.

Responsibilities include managing employee files, daily reports, managing accounts and payroll, assistant to the GM and Director of Operations.

Developed this position for the resort under the management of Jeff Proteau.  Designed and  proposed the need for this department to exist at the ski resort.  Responsibilities included coordinating all food & beverage related events for the Ski & Golf Resort.  Events included weddings, corporate dinners, exclusive buy-outs of resort venues, private club events for the memberships department, inter-company events, public & club golf tournaments, as well as managed an off-premise catering branch, Platinum Catering.  Duties included:  marketing and promoting resort venues, public relations with local and regional event planners, participating in regional wedding shows, site tours, banquet event orders, event design, training and scheduling catering team, conducting a weekly operations meeting with catering manager, chef, director of food & beverage and accounting department, overseeing events from start to finish, billing, preparing and managing a company budget of $500,000.

Allred’s Dining Room Manager: Hired, scheduled, trained, and managed a team of 25 front of the house employees.  Managed all daily aspects concerning front of the house restaurant operations.Member’s Clubhouse Manager: Hired, scheduled, trained, and managed a team of 15 food & beverage employees and 2 concierges for the Telluride Golf Club.  Managed daily operations of the food & beverage outlets on the golf course & organized large catering events for all public and club tournaments, as well as private events.

Winter:  Allred’s Dining Room Manager / Summer: Member’s Clubhouse Manager

Assisted the VP of Marketing with event planning, gathering ads from advertisers, directing graphic designers, magazine distribution, organizing media kits, demographic studies, and helped with magazine layout production.
