Veerappan Swaminathan

Veerappan Swaminathan is an accomplished professional with an impressive background in sustainability, systems thinking, community development, and technology. Veerappan has been instrumental in the Maker Movement in Asia and has worked to steer the movement towards a more sustainable future. He has honed his skills in leading purpose-driven teams, designing educational programs, running strategic thinking workshops, public speaking, community activation, volunteer mobilization, creating learning communities, coaching individuals, and organizing events.

Veerappan has an impressive academic background, including degrees in physics, law, management science, and mechanical engineering from reputed institutions such as the National University of Singapore and Stanford University. He is the founder and director of Sustainable Living Lab Pte Ltd, a former panel member of Lotus-NUS Fund, and a former CEO & Director of edm8ker.
