Adeo Ressi, a seasoned entrepreneur and venture capitalist, is on a mission to drive innovation for good. Holding a degree in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and a degree in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, Adeo has launched 14 venture capital funds and founded 11 startups, producing nearly $2 billion in exits before the age of 30.
Currently, Adeo is the CEO of VC Lab, which runs the Venture Capital Accelerator and the Fund in a Box platform. The company's goal is to launch and grow 1,000 next-gen venture capital firms worldwide by 2025. Previously, he was the Executive Chairman and CEO at Founder Institute, a pre-seed accelerator running in over 250 cities worldwide with over 5,000 portfolio companies.
Adeo's dedication to innovation for good reflects in his initiatives such as the Founder Institute's goal for 80% of portfolio companies to work on 'For Progress' businesses. These ventures are founded to tackle one or more of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
