Richard Daerr is a seasoned executive with a wealth of experience in the marine industry. He currently serves as Chairman of Orion Marine Group, Inc. Prior to this, he was the CEO and President of the company, steering it towards growth and profitability. With over three decades of experience in the construction and manufacturing sectors, Daerr has acquired a comprehensive understanding of project management, strategic planning, and business development.

In addition to his leadership role at Orion Marine Group, Daerr has held executive positions in several other companies. He was the CEO of WaveCrest Laboratories and served as the Senior Vice President of Manufacturing at Mustang Engineering. He has also worked in various management positions at Brown & Root and McDermott International.

Daerr holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University and an Executive MBA from the University of Houston.
