Guillermo Rodriguez
Guillermo Rodriguez is an intellectual property attorney with a wealth of legal knowledge and experience. He has studied with some of the best universities in the world, having earned his Master of Laws degree in Intellectual Property Law at the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC), a cooperation project of the Max Planck Society, the University of Augsburg, the Technical University of Munich, and The George Washington University. Before that, he earned a degree in law from the Universidad de Costa Rica, and a specialized degree in Notarial and Registry Law. He has also earned a Master's degree in Intellectual Property from Universidad Estatal a Distancia.
Over the years, Guillermo has held several positions as an associate or a lawyer in numerous reputable law firms such as Nassar Abogados Centroamérica, BLP Abogados, and Aczalaw Abogados Centroamericanos Asociados. Throughout his professional journey, he has garnered extensive expertise in patents and trademark prosecution, infringement, and management.
In addition to his legal work, Guillermo is an active member of the legal community, having served as a member of the National Open Data Commission, President of the Asociación Costarricense de Derecho Internacional (Coladic Costa Rica), and as an intern at Cejil.
