Raphael Christian-Roy

Raphael Christian-Roy is a seasoned founder and former venture capitalist deeply involved in the crypto space, operating in the Cayman Islands.

With nearly a decade of experience, Raphael has been an active investor in Canada's early-stage startups, co-founding and leading Front Row Ventures, the first university-focused VC firm in Canada.

He has significantly contributed to Real Ventures' early-stage investment team, one of Canada's most active seed venture capital funds, investing in pre-seed to early series A startups.

Raphael's professional journey started as a Product Manager following his graduation with a software engineering degree.

At present, Raphael serves as the Founder and CEO of Snek Foundation, focusing on Web3 and crypto projects that yield considerable transaction volumes.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Raphael enjoys skiing, biking, and pursuing his latest product ideas through coding.

Raphael pursued further education in Technology Entrepreneurship at Stanford University and obtained a Bachelor of Software Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal.

Throughout his career, Raphael has been associated with various organizations and roles, including setting up F23Y Labs, serving as an Investment Principal at Kanata Ventures, and acting as an Entrepreneur In Residence at Real Ventures.
