Cataract Project in Tanzania/Health
Managed the project with the assistance of a local NGO to do;
-Eye screening in Kizimkazi Region, Zanzibar &
-Eye surgeries for cataract patients.
During this project, eye screenings were performed for 454 people with the Ministry of Health- Zanzibar. All those people were provided medication depending on necessity and optical glasses (112) which were procured from Turkey. There have been 50 cataract surgeries at Mnazi Mmoja Hospital in Zanzibar.

Distribution of washable sanitary pad kits for 200 women in Tumbatu, Zanzibar: Managing to fundraise for the purchase of sanitary pads, partnering with Masaai women's sewing group for the production of pads, distribution of pads and providing information to the women in two phases.

Samaki Art Project aims to attract attention to Tumbatu Island people in Zanzibar. Creatively with the healing power of art and act beyond traditional NGO methods. The main aim of the project is to create funds for the employment of fishermen.
