Bun Leng

Bun Meng Leng is a highly accomplished professional currently serving as a Senior Investment Analyst at Mekong Strategic Partners (MSP) in Cambodia. With a strong background in investment management and financial advisory, he has played key roles in significant financial transactions including IPOs, corporate bond offerings, and merger and acquisition deals.

Before joining MSP, Bun Meng held the position of Assistant Vice President in the Corporate Finance division at SBI Royal Securities, a prominent investment bank in Cambodia. During his tenure, he actively contributed to major financial initiatives such as the USD27 million IPO of Sihanoukville Autonomous Port and the USD30 million corporate bond offering of Hattha Kaksekar Limited (HKL). His responsibilities encompassed areas such as due diligence, prospectus documentation, business valuation, and market and financial analysis.

Prior to his role at SBI Royal, he gained valuable experience in the Business Development Unit of SOMA Group, where he was involved in evaluating potential investment opportunities. His key duties included supporting feasibility studies, financial modeling, due diligence processes, and business plan development. His project portfolio comprised endeavors focusing on enhancing the Cambodian rice sector through paddy contract farming, facilitating clean piped water supply projects, and contributing to a hospitality project.

A distinguished scholar, Bun Meng Leng holds a Master's degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Royal University of Law and Economics.
