Bumkyu Lee is the Co-Founder and CEO of TeamSparta Inc., a prominent online coding education startup based in South Korea. He has held this position since March 2019. Under his leadership, TeamSparta has educated over 500,000 students and has successfully delivered more than 3,000 junior software engineers to the job market. The company has grown to employ over 100 people and has secured more than $10 million in funding, achieving profitability.1
Before founding TeamSparta, Lee worked as a Venture Capitalist at BonAngels Venture Partners, where he contributed to investments in notable companies such as PUBG and Woowabros. His earlier experience includes roles as a software engineer at Woowa Bros, Korea's leading food delivery app, and at Onson Soft Ltd., focusing on web and mobile game development.1
Lee holds a Bachelor's degree from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), where he double majored in Industrial Systems & Engineering and Business and Technology Management. He also participated in an exchange program at the Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Lyon.1
