Newly launched in January 2020, our company is in the business of development, production, and distribution of content in the American and Korean entertainment and media markets. By leveraging a unique network of partnerships across the US and Korea, we look to secure IPs in various literary and media formats that have international appeal to produce as English & Korean local language remakes and/or re-adaptations into films and television series. Furthermore, through our focus on international co-productions, we serve as the bridge between the entertainment creatives, content creators, and content companies in the US and Korea. Our ultimate goal is to get killer content made in the best way possible by forming new and maintaining our partnerships with great people. Our company’s development slate consists of projects of a variety of genres ranging from action, thriller, science fiction to drama and romance. In addition to this we also work and partner with directors, writers, and film & TV production companies in Korea to acquire the remake rights of Korean TV series and films for co-production in the U.S.

Silicon Valley Exports

- Supervised and oversaw the creative development of Skybound's Korean TV series, FIVE YEAR. - Served as the international liaison/representative between Skybound Entertainment and the production partner in Korea.- Oversaw and led the pitch meetings with writers, producers, and major Korean studios and broadcasters on location in Seoul, South Korea during Jun 2019 - Sept 2019. Communicated in both Korean and English for meetings. - Tasked with scouting, vetting, and acquiring other Korean business opportunities in film, television, video games, and general business development and partnership opportunities. - Attended 2019 Busan Film Festival as an official invitee from the festival to participate in the E-IP Asian Content Market Pitching Session.

Skybound Entertainment

Development & Production

- Worked alongside the show's executive producers and showrunner to assist and help shepherd the creative development of the show. In addition, provided creative notes and feedback on story documents submitted by the writer. - Served as the American representative writer/producer in the initial all-Korean writers room. Helped write, pitch, and develop the season story and character arcs with the showrunner and the Korean writers. - Managed and coordinated the creative communication process between the American producers and the Korean producers.- Supervised and helped oversee the deadlines for story document drafts and responsible for distribution of the creative documents upon completion.- Served as the day-to-day person on any creative/operational/business-related support to the executive producers as well as maintaining international relations between all creative parties during all phases of the production of the show. - Provided any additional translations on behalf of the American and Korean teams.

Five Year South Korea TV Series - Initial Writers Room

- Worked under the Co-Presidents of the Film/TV Department at Skybound Entertainment. - Managed Sean and Bryan's schedules, meetings, and calls for all Skybound projects. - Read and provided evaluation/notes on script submissions and current project script drafts. - Sat in on project calls/meetings and took notes on the creative discussions. - Day-to-day operational tasks for the department. - Compiled and prepared presentation pitch decks for Skybound projects. - Participated in weekly internal Film/TV development meetings with the department and CEO David Alpert.

Executive Assistant to Sean Furst & Bryan Furst

- Managed Robert's schedules, meetings, and calls as well as providing additional support to CEO David Alpert. - Read and provided input/notes on scripts for Film/TV projects. - Coordinated and worked with THE WALKING DEAD, FEAR THE WALKING DEAD, and OUTCAST creative/production teams. - Also served as Skybound's Office Manager to help manage day-to-day operational tasks for the company. - Assisted in running various weekly internal Skybound staff meetings and provided detailed meeting notes and reports on all company-wide meetings. - Helped manage and supervise Skybound activations at San Diego Comic-Con for 2 years. - Worked alongside and assisted on projects for Skybound's Film/TV, Editorial/Comics, Business Development, Merchandise Design, and Digital Content departments.
