Bryan Bademan
Executive Director
Bryan Bademan is the Executive Director of Anselm House, an organization dedicated to integrating faith and knowledge within the academic environment of the University of Minnesota. Raised in Minnesota, Bademan holds a Ph.D. from Notre Dame and has a background in teaching American history and the history of Christianity before joining Anselm House.234
In his role at Anselm House, Bademan has been involved in promoting a "College of Grace," which aims to create a Christian community that engages deeply with the university's work. This initiative seeks to bridge the gap between faith and academia by fostering meaningful connections among Christian faculty and students at the University of Minnesota.12 Bademan's vision includes establishing a model for Christian engagement that is neither peripheral nor irrelevant to the mainstream university, unlike traditional campus ministries or Christian colleges.1
